Burger bun, pita bread and bread for toast sandwich, all formed and pre-baked through production process as ready dough pots in different shapes, in order to carry easily foods, open only in one (upper) side with internal dough surfaces also toasted and method of making.

- Wall thickness ranges from 5,5 mm to 10 mm
- Shape and size of the hollow depend on the kind of filling (burger, doner/gyros, ham & cheese etc.)
- Final moisture > 30%

The purpose of the invention is to create “easy to handle” and “easy to eat” sandwiches which usually carry large quantities of food and liquid sauces. The shape of the proposed products and the thickness of the dough walls in conjunction with the fact that the internal surfaces of the dough are toasted (creating barrier to liquid penetration), permit a very efficient way of food holding.
