The Automatic safety Flag relates to a system that automatically raises and lowers a safety flag. When the vehicle is traveling at a wakeless speed (5MPH) or less the flag will extend and when the vehicle resumes a speed greater than 5MPH the flag will retract. This safety device will help solve the problem of a small boat or personal watercraft being difficult to see when traveling slow or at a dead stop in the water. This safety device once employed, can help save lives by making small watercraft more visible. Considering the large number of privately owned boats and personal watercraft which share the waters today there is a tremendous opportunity for a safety device such as this. Imagine how many more lives could have been lost without seat belts in automobiles. Today seat belts are required in cars and trucks and it is also required by law to wear them. Like there is a seat belt law now, there may soon be a law which requires all small boats to have a device such as this as standard safety equipment. This safety device would be relatively inexpensive to manufacture and can be employed on a variety of small boats, personal water craft, driverless ski boats like the Wake trainer or Boto. I am interested in selling the patent and all rights. I am open to any reasonable offer. Please review the patent and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. US Pat #6,057,787
