Neutral tear protection device supplied from a single or three-phase AC low-voltage grid/installation when a neutral conductor tear, disconnection or discontinuity occurs, intended for installation at the point of common coupling right after the metering point or at the consumer's distribution board or within a single electrical load. The device protects electrical equipment permanently or occasionally connected to the power supply by means of supply interruption when a neutral conductor tear/discontinuity occurs. It also provides a secondary protection from fire due to electrical hazard and with it significantly reduces the risk of life.
