Se trata de un traductor de idiomas bidireccional con voz, es decir, un aparato electrónico (supongamos del tamaño de un teléfono móvil) con el cual dos personas que hablen idiomas distintos, podrán conversar y entenderse en tiempo real sin necesidad de reprogramar el aparato cada vez que hable un interlocutor u otro,(ésta es una mejora respecto a los traductores tradicionales), consiguiendo una conversación fluida y de calidad, a modo de ejemplo, yo podría entenderme con una persona de un pais distinto al mío y éste conmigo, sin necesidad de que ambos tengamos conocimientos o estudios de idiomas. Cualquier persona podrá viajar por el mundo sin temor al desconocimiento del idioma....a demás éste aparato tiene otras aplicaciones en instalaciones fijas ( taxis, hoteles, puestos turísticos de información al público, etc.)
