My invention is a redesigned syringe that in addition to the volume information provides a delivery scale related to kilograms. This allows the healthcare provider to quickly administer drugs to a pediatric patient without having to rely on previous calculations or short cut techniques. Not only does this syringe system eliminate the need for calculations it virtually eliminates the possibility of medication errors.

Financial information

The production price of a syringe is less than 50 cents to manufacture, allowing for large profit margins. This syringe can easily be marketed and sold at a slightly greater price than standard syringes because of the function it performs. My syringe system replaces other expensive pediatric code kits purchased by many hospitals. I see initial sales in the millions because my syringe has use in hospitals, urgent care centers and ambulances nationwide. I am looking to either sell my patent or license it for a lump sum deal/ royalties.
