An apparatus for selectively allowing calls to a device, especially a facsimile machine, that may receive calls on a signal line. The apparatus detects an incoming call on the signal line and allows the incoming call to reach the device if received during an enabled time period but prevents the incoming call from reaching the device if received outside the enabled time period. The invention has been designed/built and successfully tested (CE marked) in the US, Canadian, UK, French, Russian, Hong Kong and Chinese telephone systems. I am looking for a licensing agreement with Royalties. There are over 100 million fax machines in the world today. On the fax machines that I tested the average ink saving was £300 per year per fax machine! Plus there were savings on paper, electricity, wear and tear and Staff Time. There are two US, Chinese, European, Canadian and Eurasian patents linked to this product. The same technique will AUTOMATICALLY filter out Nuisance callers on landlines. i.e. no input is required by the end user, Caller ID is NOT required. The market potential is easily $100 million +
