The invention provides a unique self actuating oscillating valve and suggests means to control flow. It also replaces multiple internal springs with one external spring to simplify compressor maintenance. and has the added feature of stepless, high efficient unloading simply by adjusting the external spring to control valve open and closing time to alter capacity.

The single external spring concept would greatly reduce maintenance costs. The unloading concept allows improved capacity control. Possibly increasing sales by more than one billion USD over 10 years.
