Background: Regular cat condos allow cats to scratch, climb, and play on but are obvious, tacky, and outdated. Presently there are very few options for cat condos that are efficient while not being obvious and an eyesore for home décor. The present invention seeks to provide a solution to this problem by providing a cat condo that appears as a bookshelf.

Brief Summary of Invention: The following is intended to be a brief summary and does not limit the concept of the invention. The cat condo bookshelf is used for cats to scratch, climb, and play on. The bookshelf has interchangeable shelving units for different personalities.

Detailed Description: The bookshelf has four total shelves, three that are interchangeable. The bottom shelf is used as the scratching surface which is also used as a removable storage box designed with a rope layered style. The three interchangeable shelves vary with design and function. Basic design includes shelves with appearance of books, fake plants, picture frames, DVDs, and board games with access behind for the cat to hide in or to provide extra scratching spots. Two of the three shelves have one hole cut in the bottom of the shelf allowing the cat to move up to different levels of the shelving. Advance/interchangeable shelving includes holiday (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Halloween, etc.) and seasonal themes (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall). All items on shelf are attached with easy to use brackets that are screwed in by the customer. This allows for easy packaging and storing while allowing a safe and secure product.
