Of the many models for the EZ Ruf-N-It Trailer, the smallest trailer model is light and small enough to tow behind a medium-sized motorcycle or sub-compact vehicle. There are millions of these types of vehicles on the road, and very few of them are equipped to tow trailers. The reason for this, is that there’s never been a multi-use compact trailer available for these types of vehicles until now. There are millions of these vehicles on the road now with more than a million new ones sold each year. A substantial amount of these customers would love to be able to enjoy the great outdoors if only there were an affordable, light weight, stable and multi-functional trailer that will put the fun back into camping and help to ease the effort associated with camping. Admit it, roughing it is a pain in the you know where! The EZ Ruf-N-It Trailer can be set-up so quickly and smoothly and so much faster and easier than clearing off and leveling an area to erect a tent. Haul all your camping gear and no more sleeping on the ground! This all adds up to a vast untapped and renewable customer base.
Up until now, the only options that have been available for these vehicle were a few single use motorcycle pop-up tent-trailers and some mini-campers, all of which are expensive, weigh 300 lbs. or more, have very little storage space, and are good for nothing but taking up space when you are not out having fun.
The basic motorcycle towable model of the EZ Ruf-N-It Trailer solves the problems of riding your motorcycle to the job site and not having enough tools to complete the job, of being able to go to the grocery store and buying no more than what will fit into your saddle bags, of being able to haul any light load with ease, and of making camping fun again. Think Sturgis and all the other motorcycle rallies! Haul your kids and pets around, strap a small boat on top and go fishing, or get your butt out and go on a road trip (plenty of KOA Camp Grounds out there). Once these units start to show up in public it will be hard to keep up with the demand.
This model is only 8' long (bike & trailer will fit easily into any standard auto parking space), 3.5' wide at fenders (will fit thru your back yard gate), weighs only 200 lbs., has a 650 lb. GVW with a 15 lb. tongue weight (doesn’t require a monster to tow it), has a 2' wide x 1.5' tall x 5' long (12.5 cubic ft. of cargo space) cargo box that you can use to haul all your camping gear or haul your tools for work. Elevate the frame into the raised platform mode, swing out the outriggers, install leveling jacks, unfold the cargo box and erect your tent. Trailer will accommodate various style tents.
The panels can also be removed to create a flat-bed trailer to haul your buddies broken down ride or tow it with your four wheeler or truck to use as a hunters game hauler. The cargo box has double top panels that open and fold down along the side panels so that it becomes an open wagon box which allows you to haul a taller load. This model can be shipped unassembled and then easily assembled by any dealership or by the online customer.
The EZ Ruf-N-It Trailer can be manufactured in a wide variety of sizes to accommodate a wide variety of applications. Such as a model that has a cargo box 10' long x 7' wide x 3.5' tall, has side loading capability, will haul ATV 4-Wheelers, motorcycles or other toys, has all the features of its little brother and unfolds into a 210 sq. ft. raised platform. A larger model with a cargo box 20' long x 8' wide x 4' tall and has a removable roller mounted boat cradle. Go to the lake, launch your boat, go to your camp site, roll the cradle out and set up a 480 sq. ft. raised camp site. When you get home, simply roll the boat and cradle onto a wheeled stand and park it anywhere you want. Now you have a trailer at home for use as a car hauler, as a work trailer or as a trailer to haul your other toys along on another fun adventure. Optional shade canopies and screen rooms are currently being designed for all models! All models will accommodate a wide variety of tents.
In addition, the EZ Ruf-N-It Trailer can be adapted into and/or manufactured in a wide variety of sizes for many other applications, a sampling of which are:

As I am a beat-up, 70-years-young, Texan Cowboy, I know my limitations! I am offering to sell the IP outright or to License the IP to a company that can convince me that they have and/or are able to ramp up the capabilities to manufacture and sell these units on a huge scale.

EZ RUF–N–IT TRAILERS BUSINESS PLAN

If you do not currently have a facility, operating costs and expenses will still be low as a large facility is not needed at his time. As the majority of these trailers will sell online and shipped directly to the customer ready to be easily assembled thereby keeping manufacturing costs down and the profits up.

This is the only truly multi-purpose trailer available and will catch on quickly. Once these trailers start being seen on the road, at campgrounds, and the many biker functions there is no doubt the demand for these one-of-a-kind trailers will grow at a fast pace. I have shown the prototype to several motorcycle owners who are very anxious and excited to see the finished unit and they have stated that they are not concerned about the purchase price (of which I have estimated to be well under $2,000). As the orders for these one-of-a-kind trailers begin to exceed the production capabilities, it will require adding shop space and personnel as needed and/or outsourcing most of the welding to keep up with the growing demand.

“Social Media” and “Word of Mouth” are the most powerful forms of advertising. These factors, along with free placement of new product reviews in trade magazines, will keep advertising costs low. I feel the best approach to growing this lucrative enterprise is to start by manufacturing the motorcycle model and then expand the market at a comfortable pace, while still keeping up with growing sales, of which I am confident will grow at a fast, yet manageable pace.

All that is needed to begin this lucrative business is the drive and desire to be vastly successful, the adequate funds for start-up, a powerful social media campaign and eye-catching brochures which will be distributed to related businesses and supplied to each customer. These brochures will have two enticing offers: A reasonable limited-time discount offer for the purchaser, and a bonus for each trailer sold by referral.

The larger trailers covered by the patent, such as the units listed in the attached presentation, will be addressed after the motorcycle models have been established. These larger models can be built and sold in-house, and/or can be licensed out.

My current evaluation sets the value of the IP at a very conservative $1,000,000 and I will take any serious offers under consideration to sell outright or to license at agreed upon terms.
