A tow vehicle transmitter, which includes an indicator interface connectable to an indicator circuit of a tow vehicle for sensing a status of the indicator circuit and a transmitter connected to the indicator interface. The transmitter operable to transmit the status of
the indicator circuit 'via a wireless communication signal.

Also includes a diagnostic circuit and a lamp test facility.

- A wireless connection replacing the cable connection to a towed vehicle.
- Diagnostics system in towing vehicle indicating that all connections work and displaying any errors in connections (Can add other technology to this, reverse camera, tracking system etc.)
- Power supply to towed vehicle via one of the following options:
- rechargeable battery on towed vehicle
- solar
- dynamo
- wi-tricity connection
