Hand held none-adhesive tape dispenser with friction brakes

Current spools of Teflon pipe thread tape can be troublesome and very frustrating to use.
My invention is about replacing the current spools of Teflon pipe thread tape with new more effective hand held dispensers.

These are some of the improvements that my invention creates.

- Tape will not freely unwind if dispenser falls from users hand.
- Tape stays clean dry and undamaged inside dispenser.
- Improves working in tight spaces.
- Easy to find free end as a short length is always at exit point.
- Has consistent even tension and comes out flat with squeeze at exit point to allow for better speed and accuracy.

My new tape dispenser could be sold as a simple disposable model, with similar costs to produce as current spools on the market today. But could also be produced as a refillable model with finger hub. Because this model can be refilled over and over with spools that don't require a cap, they could be even less expensive to produce than current spools in the long run.
