iPad 2,3, 4 and mini corner punch out tool using a hammer.

I have modified a prying tool used for iPads to help fix corner damage. One end has been bend over and grinded down to be able to tap a hammer. The other end has been rounded more and grinded down less to fit on the corner of the iPad better. I have applied heat shrink for better grip while holding it.

The problem it solves is you can't apply a new screen to the iPad if the corners are pushed in to far. It also helps with the cosmetic of the iPad. If you use regular plyers you have a chance of breaking the corner off.

There are different types of tools but at a greater cost. The cost of this is way less and easier to use. I have sold 195 of these in 2 years and have over 7k page views on my ebay listing. I use this myself when repairing iPads. I have even modified it more to use repair iPhone 6 and 6 plus damaged corners.
