The invention relates to an apparatus for the transdermal delivery of substances in general, such as -for example- active principles for therapeutic and cosmetic use.
It is the evolution of the "roller" and consists of a patch electrode connected with a power supply.
Biggest advantages vs previous invention and vs other local application methods are: 1) it is operator-free, it can be used without any specialized help; 2) made of disposable materials; 3) it uses an adhesive gel which contributes to keep the area perfectly clean.
This apparatus avoid all contraindications of the classical needle therapy or of the ionophoresis or cryo-ionophoresis.
