Abstract In an aspect there is disclosed an item of furniture (10), typically a flat-pack item of furniture, comprising a plurality of panels operatively adapted to be assembled to form the item of furniture. The item of furniture (10) includes at least an operative top panel (P4), an opposing, spaced apart bottom panel (P5) and at least one side panel (P1, P2) operatively located between the top (P4) and the bottom panels (P5) wherein at least the top panel and the bottom panel are produced from solid surface.

CLAIMS
1.
An item of furniture comprising a plurality of panels operatively adapted to be assembled
to form the item of furniture, the item of furniture including at least an operative top panel; an
opposing, spaced apart bottom panel and at least one side panel operatively located between the
top and the bottom panels, wherein at least the top panel and the bottom panel are produced from
solid surface and wherein at least the side panel and the bottom panel are attached via a bracket
wherein the bracket is secured (i) to the side panel via a first fastener and (ii) to the bottom panel
via a second fastener.

An item of furniture according to claim 1, wherein the plurality of panels are produced
from solid surface.

An item of furniture according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the item of furniture is a flat-pack
item of furniture.

An item of furniture according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the first and
second fasteners each comprise a
threaded insert.
