The VEHICLE RAMP WITH BARRIER is intended to safeguard mini dump trucks driving right up to the edge of excavations in order to pour concrete for bases, plinths etc. Presently there is no means of preventing the dumper from falling into the excavation other than its brakes.
Aside from preventing the dump trucks from overrunning the excavation, The VEHICLE RAMP WITH BARRIER also spreads the weight of the dumper across a much larger area than its four wheels, assisting in keeping the edge of the excavation from caving in.
The VEHICLE RAMP WITH BARRIER incorporates diagonal ribs underneath preventing it from moving forward when the dumper drives onto it.
