A device and method for broken tap removal are provided herein. A tap creates threads within a bored hole. Taps are very useful and used in many aspects of the building and engineering industries. In the event a tap becomes bound within the bored hole and breaks off below the surface of the bored component, it presents a difficult situation to remove the broken piece of tap left behind. The current invention is a tool provided to quickly and easily remove the broken tap by utilizing three points of contact between the removal tool and the broken tap. In using three points of contact the broken piece of tap can be pushed/pulled and turned in order to dislodge it from the bore hole making the tap removal simple and successful.
