This product fits around the runners on rocking chairs to prevent infant fingers, dog paws or cat tails from getting under and injured. It is adjustable and can be used on rocking horses (a.k.a. hobby horse) or other rocking toys.
The product is four pieces, two pairs of identical objects (A and B). Each pair (one A and one B) slide into each other to fit around the runner. A and B are each elongated "U" shapes. The open end of A slides into the open side of B and can adjust to the lenght of the runner from 24 inches to 36 inches. Small tabs on the top keep the Rocker Blocker on the runner if the chair is moved. It goes on in seconds and can easily be removed for cleaning under the chair. A and B are each approximately 19 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide, and in profile varies from 4 !/2 inches where the runner is furthest off the ground to 2 inches where the runner is on the ground in the middle. It is made of a plastic that is somewhat flexible yet smooth to the touch so that the pieces slide easily into each other. All the top edges are rounded for safety.
