The invention relates to computer technology and can be used as a processor or a co-processor for solving exponential complexity problems (NP-problems) in time that is a polynomial function of the amount of input data. The main object of the invention is to build artificial intelligence systems based thereon. An NP-processor is based on a computing environment consisting of a finite set of multiple-element triggers, interconnected by common elements. According to the invention, the NP-processor has interference relations between the computing environment elements and negative feedback that is independent of the specification of the problem, for dynamic leveling of the activity of the computing environment elements. There are also connections for identifying a steady state that is a solution to the problem out of an exponential number of fluctuation forms.
