SAFETY ENHANCED BALL JOINTS AND TIEROD ENDS

Ball joint and tierod end failures are a common occurrence on our roads. In an effort to reduce motor vehicle crashes and avoidable deaths that can occur due to wear of motor vehicle ball-joints and tierod ends, our team has developed a Ball Joint With A Retainer/Safety Nut That Prevents Accidental Separation Of The Ball Stud From The Socket”. This invention relates in general to ball joints, such as are commonly used in motor vehicle steering and suspension systems (inclusive of upper ball joints, lower ball joints, tie rod ends and control arms). This new design has potential to become standard equipment in all new motor vehicles. rnrnEvery year, thousands of motor vehicles are involved in crashes due to failure of ball joints and tierod ends. Even with frequent inspections and servicing, the ball joints that we find in motor vehicles can fail due to wear of the ball and socket, leading to their separation. This issue affects all motor vehicles including SUVs, saloons, trucks and buses. In the past, some inventors have tried to address this challenge by coming up with new designs. All other designs have various weaknesses that are fully addressed by the present design. The invention is particularly aimed at preventing motor vehicle crashes that are caused by separation of ball joints or tie-rod ends. This invention relates in general to ball joints, such as are commonly used in motor vehicle steering and suspension systems (inclusive of upper ball joints, lower ball joints, tie rod ends and control arms). This new design has potential to become standard equipment in all new motor vehicles. It also makes ball joints and tierod ends renewable.rnrnThe new design applies to all motor vehicles by different manufacturers – SUVs, buses, light vehicles. It also applies to to all sorts of ball joints including tie rod ends - which both cause numerous accidents. We have added a retainer nut that ensures that ball and socket assembly does not separate ensuring better vehicle safety. Our design is ideal for un-surfaced roads and roads with pot holes which increase rate of wear and tear for tierod ends and ball joints. Ball joints are renewable by unscrewing and adding polymer bearing thereby prolonging service lifernThe new design works with both existing vehicle models and new ones. rn
