Relieving the painful pressure of a contracted arm following a seizure after a stroke. This is a device that extends the contracted arm in stages, as it would be too painful for the patient to fully extend the arm in the beginning of the procedure.
It solves a global clinical problem created by the contraction causing
finger to curl inwards and puncturing the palm of the hand. with the fingernails and the arm creating pressure against the chest. The device also maintains the flexibility of the arm.
The benefits are in the interest of the patient, by creating flexibility of movement compared to existing technologies that are stationery, and cause injury to the limb due to constant pressure.
