It is an Inventive Idea to develop “Social Distancing Device” (SDD) which guide us to maintain social distance. Here social distancing is a measures taken to prevent the spread of a contagious disease by maintaining a physical distance between people and reducing the number of times people come into close contact with each other. Manual maintenance of social distancing is very difficult where there is continuous work interaction and where there are sitting arrangements, at offices, hospitals, banks, educational institutes, restaurants, metros, airports etc. Hence this idea helps and monitor us to maintain social distancing with use of technology. To overcome these problems, the idea/concept of developing SDD has been proposed which will alert the people when they are crossing the limit of social distancing and guide them to sit safely. SDD is an electronic device that can sense the human presence on the chair to which it is attached and also to detect the nearby chairs. If the nearby chairs are not out of the predefined social distancing range, then it receives the info about the human presence on that nearby chair and accordingly it gives the alerts/indications. This idea of SDD can control all sitting possibilities and adhere to social distancing measures firmly. It can be used for all movable and non-movable chairs in public/commercial sectors to maintain social distancing.
