COMPOSITION SUITABLE AS FILLER AND SEALANT

The invention is directed to a composition comprising a. 5-50 weight% (solid) of polyisoprene rubber, b. 1-10 weight% (solid) of a dispersion agent, c. 3-60 weight% of a filler, and d. 15-40 wt% water wherein the weight percentages are based on the total weight of the composition.
This binding agent is suitable for making fillers, sealants, glues and paints.
The products, based on this completely natural binding agent, comprise the natural raw materials only . They are one-component, vapor permeable, water-based, water and frost resistant, see Link
The principal and at the same time unique key feature of all these products: natural fillers, sealants, glues, paints is their vapor permeability which prevents moisture accumulation and subsequent rot. See on importance of vapor permeability: Link
This property (vapor permeability) of fillers, sealants and glues has not yet been realized by even such well-known manufacturers as Akzo Nobel, PPG, Tremco Illbruk, Bostik, Bison, Saba en so long, in their products. One of the reasons might be that some of those companies focus their efforts on increasing the vapor permeability of the coatings, which is in fact a minor issue in comparison with the damage which is caused by impermeable sealants, fillers and glues.
