The ROTARY RAIL SWITCH is a simple, powerful and versatile rail/track switching mechanism, destined:
- to improve traditional railways switching,
- to boost passenger capacities in amusement rides of roller coasters, and
- to facilitate the definitive implementation of revolutionary transport solutions.

Major advantages of this unique innovation are:
- the efficiency of its rotary dynamics, and
- the wide scope of its applicability (mono and multi-railed tracks, supporting and suspended vehicles, traditional and modern rail-wrapping wheels-assemblies, diverging, merging and crossing points, and varied tridimensional track-switching configurations).

The flagship application is track-switching for people/loads mass-moving systems where tracks present tridimensional-layout configurations and/or where vehicles are guided with rail-wrapping wheels-assemblies, i.e. track-switching for modern transportation systems (e.g. Maglev bullet trains, suspended monorails, PRTs,..) and amusement rides (roller coasters).

The invention is protected by a family of 39 patents (26 granted and 13 pending) with a global coverage of circa 90% of worldwide GDP.
