This invention relates to a rain-shield system (1) for motor vehicles (A), in particular for shielding persons entering and leaving said motor vehicles (A) from the rain, and for simultaneously shielding the interior panel of at least one door (P) of said motor vehicles, wherein said rain-shield system (1) comprises: a rain-shield element (10) that can be inserted in the shell and/or bodywork of said motor vehicle (A), said rain-shield element (10) comprising at least one covering portion (100, 101) adapted to shield persons from the rain; a rail (12), said rain-shield element (10) being slidably coupled to said rail (12); and at least a first actuator, connected to said rain-shield element (10) and/or optionally to said rail (12), for adjusting the sliding of said rain- shield element (10) on said rail (12) in such a way that said rain-shield element (10) can transition from a closed configuration, wherein said at least one covering portion (100, 101) is inside said shell and/or bodywork, to an operative configuration, wherein said at least one covering portion (100, 101) is external to said shell and/or bodywork so as to be able to shield said persons from the rain. This invention also relates to a motor vehicle (A) comprising said rain-shield system (1).
