Corn capes - Compostable/Biodegradable disposable capes

A compostable protective cape or gown that is environmentally friendly, biodegradable and and made from corn starch. The cape is disposable and is worn to protect clothing or the body and may be placed around the neck of a person, and ties may be used to hold the cape in place. The cape may be positioned on the person by use of a hole. This product is used in hairdressing salons, dental surgeries, veterinary centres and other industries where disposable and protective items need to be worn.
'One use only' plastics are socially unacceptable and many governments are banning them. Corn Capes offer an environmentally friendly solution to a global pollution pandemic with micro plastics ending up in our oceans or land fills.
Corn Capes are made from corn starch which is a certified compostable compound which leave no trace in the environment unlike traditional plastics which can take hundreds of years to break down.
In North America and Europe alone there are approximately 1,800,000 hair salons that use some form of protective item on customers during the hair colouring process. Governments have already started to ban 'one use only' plastic items such as straws, cutlery, plates, cups, supermarket bags and food wrapping and much more. It's only a question of time before 'one use only' plastic items will be banned completely.

If information requested is critical to the designs in the patent, I may ask for a NDA to be signed. I wish to protect my patent from infringement. That will also protect serious buyers or investors.

Corn Capes have been sold in Spain since 2021 to salon owners and to hair tint manufacturers who supply capes to their customers.
With approximately 1,8 million hair salons alone in North America and Europe all using some form of protective item whilst colouring customers hair the market potential for Corn Capes is huge. Most salons opt for 'one use only' plastic gowns which many customers don't approve of and governments are starting to ban.
