Adapter for injection device e.g. hypodermic needle

The adapter has a sleeve element that is provided with under-side retainer and is positioned on a syringe barrel. A top opening with needle seat is provided through which nozzle is inserted and is connected with the syringe barrel. The adapter structure with needle seat is provided in the sleeve portion to guide upper end of syringe barrel in back up position by a spring. The adapter structure is fixed and released by lateral extension in upper application position.
