This application is actually directed to three different components of modular units. Each of these components independently contributes to the strength of the building and can be combined to synergistically additionally strengthen the building made from the volumetric modules.
The invention/s literally tackle a major weakness of many commercially available modular buildings.
The modular buildings have superior strength and are easy to construct off-site with easy incorporation of quality building materials so that the end product has a very non-modular feeling. I have walked around in the finished products and they feel like a regular [non-modular] but high quality building, for example the floors and walls are totally solid-feeling and the isolation of heat, cold and noise is exceptional.
Probably the application needs to be divided into two additional patent applications so the agreement covers three licenses or other kinds of agreements.
