We are the manufacturer of a patented product called the TILT RACK. Unlike most conventional cargo racks it has the ability to go from a stationary platform to a tilting position. This feature enables the end user the convenience of loading the rack by means of a winch and inclined plane as opposed to straight up lifting. It is an ideal product for the outdoor sportsman who is looking to secure his game without the heavy lifting involved, the contractor who is looking to transport a heavy generator with ease or the home owner who would like to transport his snow blower. All of these applications and more can be accomplished easily with the TILT RACK. It is also of benefit to the municipalities who need to take care of animal fatalities on the road. Being a one man operation, it eliminates the need of sending out two people to get the job done and lessens the chance of back injuries due to the heavy lifting involved .At present the TILT RACK is being utilized by the New York State and Rhode Island Department of Environmental Control.
There are two sizes available – 60” X 20” and 60” X 30”. They are very well constructed. The 20” unit weighs 94 lbs. and the 30” unit weighs 114 lbs. Both units are of welded construction using 3/16” and 1/4” steel. After assembly they are powder coated as opposed to painted.
