UDFE for solid pulverized aerosols, polyatomic gases, vapors and radioactive ionizing contaminants is a system of one or more segmented filtration chambers.
The main mechanism of filtration is based on condensation of a supersaturated
Vapor on the impurities to be extracted as the centre of condensation.
Other processes, known in the filtering techniques, as the diffusion, thermal precipitation
(thermoforesis), and absorption, contribute in the proposed system positively to the main mechanism.
The proposed system allows an optimization of filtering by proper choice of number of the segments.
