Lobster 'Form-A-Door' New Compression Lintel

I have recently registered a Trade Mark name and patent for this product.

My patent was filed on 2nd November 2010 using patent attorneys Albright Patents.

I am now looking to sell the ideal to a building supplies/manufacturer who are already in this market and who can put their brand name to the product.

As I am sure you are aware with the product being patented it can not be copied for a period of 20 years so the owner would have the monopoly of this product for this period and so sell with a profit margin of it’s choosing.

The product is for use in refurbishment and alteration projects were new openings in load or non-load bearing solid walls are required. The product eliminates the need for any temporary propping requirements as well as being quick and easy to install. The lintel can be fitted, and the opening formed in a matter of hours rather than a couple of days using the traditional method. It also has the benefit of not only being a supporting lintel but could also be an arch head former of any shape as well as being installed above or beneath the wall plaster depending on the finished look required.

Once this product hits the market, it will, I’m sure, make other standard concrete and steel lintels obsolete for alteration and refurbishment projects purely for it’s simplicity and cost effectiveness.

The product is mainly of steel construction with manufacturing costs estimated to be low.

I have produced a proto type of this product which provides impressive performance qualities as well as it’s simple production properties.
