Oil slick extraction, conveyance and containment boom.

This design is intended to extract oil from oil slicks (and other surface pollutants) and convey it to centrifuges for separation from sea or lake or river water, and at the same time as containing the slick so that it does not foul beaches and poison wildlife.

Its advantages over conventional booms are that it is multifunctional to the extent the oil may be recovered without having to be burned off or chemicalised, and also better designed so that the oil is less likely to go under or over the boom.

It has not been previously marketed or sold, and there are no associated IP pieces.
