An apparatus and method for loading, securing, and unloading a vehicle from a carrier bed. An aft axle restraint and ramp assembly is lowered to the ground, providing an inclined ramp for the vehicle to be driven onto the bed. The ramp is then raised into a vertical position and locked.
This apparatus allows a vehicle to be loaded and unloaded onto a trailer in a very quick and safe manner without the use of tie-down straps, bungee cords, and ropes. This eliminates the concern of straps becoming lose, wearing out, and/or breaking and causing a hazardous situation to occur.
There has been much interest in this product being produced, however, the inventor is only interested in selling the patent and all rights to it rather than producing the apparatus himself.
