I have a Provisional Patent for a hot new fishing product called "Off The Hook". Ideally I am looking for a business partner or investor, but I am willing to sell the Patent Rights for the right offer.

Description:
"Off The Hook" is a non-piercing fish hook with a twist, so to speak. It was originally designed for people who are queasy about baiting a worm on a traditional fish hook. However, due to the nature of the design, it has yielded many other benefits as well.
The design is very simple, but effective. Instead of a traditional fish hook with a long straight shaft, The "Off the Hook" fish hook has a series of tightly wound spirals/coils that allow the user to wrap the worm around the length of the shaft.

Features & Benefits:
1. Allows users to bait a fish hook without getting worm guts/juice all over their hands and clothing.
2. Allows the worm to move and wiggle in the water thus attracting more fish.
3. Keeps the worm parallel to the shaft of the hook which in turn makes it easier to be swallowed by fish.
4. Keeps the worm alive for a longer period of time versus piercing a hook through the body of the worm several times.
5. The coils that are wrapped around the body of the worm act as a protective cage which prevents smaller pesky fish from stealing the bait.
6. Sunlight reflecting off of the coils of the hook acts as a natural lure and attracts more fish.

Ideally, I am looking for a partner or an investor, but I am open to sell the licensing rights with royalties or an outright sale of the patent for the right amount.

There are 60 million anglers in the U.S. of which 46 million are expected to fish annually.

More people fish than play golf and tennis combined.

Fishing tackle sales increased 16% in the last five years. (Nice to know there was an industry that prospered during tough economic times).

The number of anglers increased 11% since 2006.
